Established in 2007, Felicita began with the development of roads and water infrastructure, followed by the completion of Dimora, the Villa, and the farm store in 2008. 

Each element of the Estate was created to support a lifestyle rooted in nature, quality, and calm. Over time, that vision evolved into a boutique off-grid estate community with a strong focus on sustainability and purposeful living. 

In 2020, changing lifestyles inspired a broader vision for Felicita – one centred on space, privacy, and meaningful connection to the land. The concept expanded to include five additional homes for residents drawn to a quieter, more intentional way of life. 

Finalised in early 2025, the Estate’s next phase positions Felicita as both a distinctive lifestyle destination and a compelling long-term investment, supported by organic fynbos cultivation, eco-tourism, and carbon-light living.

Because Felicita has never depended on the national grid, it offers true energy independence, freedom from loadshedding, and a practical standard of off-grid comfort without compromise.
